DAY 1: NHA TRANG →  DALAT

Before leaving Nha trang, we will visit the Cham temple to know more about the colorful culture of the Cham ethnic people. The mountain route takes us toward the west where you will enjoy the winding mountain road, stunning landscape and lush green forest. Stop at the spectacular view and natural waterfall on the top of mountain 723 at 1500 meters above sea level. Visit the sugar plantation and rice field then taking along the way to Dalat we will visit the Buddhist pagoda – Linh Phuoc pagoda. After visiting the pagoda we continue to visit the old railway station made by the French government during the French period to transfer French armies and grapes to make wine, it is the first wine distillery factory in Vietnam. We arrive in Dalat at 5:00 pm.

 

DAY 2: DALAT →  LAK LAKE

Head to the breathtaking countryside road Dalat to see the beautiful landscapes and reach another coffee farm you will try to taste different types of coffee like Mocha, Robusta, Arabica, or weasel animal coffee.

After visiting all those beautiful farms, continue your journey to a local family where you are able to try the taste of the strongest traditional homemade rice wine. The next destination will be a family business – a silk worm factory to learn about the silk-making process.

And the highlight of this area is waiting for you at the Elephant waterfall. It is a massive fall where you will be shown if stand at the bottom. Close to the fall is the Buddhism Temple & a huge Happy Buddha statue and the highest lady Buddha statue in the south where you will enjoy your time and get a deeper understanding of Buddhism through our guides.

Relax and continue the trip through the mountain way, visit K’ho village to learn another different culture among 54 different Ethnic groups in Vietnam and stop in the flooding village for pictures.

 

DAY 3:  LAK LAKE → DAK MIL

Leave the wildlife of Lak lake to Dakmil, don’t miss your chance to know more about the local culture of the M’nong people here, our tour guide will try their best to explain to you about their life, history and how they can earn money to live in their area. Then, you also can do the dug-out canoe trip to feel the beauty of the second natural lake here (optional, extra pay for activities).

Before getting to another waterfall for swimming, come to visit local rice noodle making or go to the local market to buy fresh chicken – baguette for picnic lunch in the national park (optional choices for picnic lunch or restaurant).

After enjoying swimming at the waterfall, we will ride around 35 km more to the hotel, you can ask for the hammock to take a rest with a cup of coffee or tea.

 

DAY 4: DAK MIL → DONG XOAI

Leaving Dakmil to a cocoa plantation, head to the Ho Chi Minh trail where you can learn more about the civil war of Vietnam between the northern and southern governments before 1975.

Go along the border belt between Vietnam and Cambodia and visit another hill tribe group.

Visit the cashew factory, rubber plantation and soldier cemetery before check-in at the hotel.

 

DAY 5: DONG XOAI→ SAI GON

The highlight of this day is the Cu Chi tunnel, a historical area that shows how Vietnamese soldiers were against American and Vietnam southern soldiers in the war. After understanding all of the histories in this land, you can try to get into the tunnel crawling, ( shutting the gun is an optional activity). Then keep going to Sai Gon around 4:00 pm.
